About
From a teenage freelancer to founder of a full-stack digital partner — here's the story.

- 2012
The Hustle Starts
Ilyass didn't wait for a diploma to start working. As a teenager, he was already on Freelancer and Fiverr, taking on any digital job he could land. He didn't know it yet, but that hustle for pocket money was the start of a career. It's where he became a designer — not in a classroom first, but in the deep end.
Self-Taught, On Purpose
While formally studying design fundamentals, graphic design, and web design, he was already working after school — teaching himself everything the classroom didn't cover fast enough: marketing, SEO, SEM, branding, Shopify, web development. Hard work and responsibility weren't abstract values — they were daily requirements.
- 2014
Going Professional
The pocket-money hustle turned into a real practice. By 2014 he was taking on serious freelance work — paying clients, real deliverables, professional design and web projects. Not just any job he could land, but the standard of work a business would actually pay for.
- 2015
Rooeya Design
His first business: a graphic and web design agency with printable advertising services on the side. Small, scrappy, entirely his — this is where he stopped being a freelancer and started being an operator, working hands-on with a growing list of clients.
- 2018
DTR is Born
Rooeya taught him what he could build. DTR is what he built with that lesson — designed to scale, not stay local. The name carries two meanings: Digital Transformation Revolution, and Dreams To Reality. It started in web development, turning local brands into real digital businesses — mostly B2B, with real B2C experience too.
- 2021
Beyond Digital
DTR stopped being just an agency. By managing clients' IT infrastructure directly — servers, devices, maintenance, CCTV — it became a genuine one-stop digital partner. Today it's a small, fast-growing team: designers, developers, IT technicians, and commercial staff.
The Proof
DTR manages IT for Adidas Morocco's retail stores, and has delivered major digital and brand work for VitalFer and Riva Industries — two companies under Groupe Belmekki, Morocco's #2 metal construction group. Alongside DTR, Ilyass runs e-commerce ventures of his own, because the best strategy is the one tested with your own money first.

And What's Next
Still building, still learning from what doesn't work. Ilyass has helped hundreds of small founders grow — and he's proud of it. But the pattern was clear: help them grow, and they eventually outgrow the relationship. That's where his strongest work actually happens now — not one-off small projects, but long-term partnerships with structured companies ready to invest seriously in growth. Bigger companies, deeper engagements, clients across international markets.
What I Believe
Search isn't dying — it's changing shape. Brands that show up inside AI answers will out-compete the ones still chasing blue links.
Strategy without shipping is just opinion. Everything I recommend, I've built — for clients, or for my own businesses.
Long-term partnerships beat one-off projects. Real growth compounds; it doesn't happen in a single sprint.
